Christopher J. Pace- Linux Server Consultant

Linux Support Background

Starting in 1998, Linux has always been a passion for me. I first started work with Linux support in 2001. Since 2006, I have been a remote Linux consultant, offering remote Linux administration services to my many clients. In addition to working on many independent projects as a freelance Linux consultant, I perform a large amount of my work at rentacoder.com. On Rent A Coder, I am rated as a "Top Coder" on their site, and have an excellent feedback history. You can view my Rent A Coder resume, and see the past projects that I have worked on.

When choosing a Linux server consultant to work on your Linux server, it is crucial that they have an understanding of not only how your server works, but also how downtime can affect your business. With my Linux consulting experience, I have this crucial understanding. This will prevent issues with deploying software with conflicting dependencies, as well as saving you time and money by using"best practices". These best practices can reduce overall downtime of a Linux server in the event of a failure, and any good Linux server consultant should know how to reduce downtime! Some would say that my experience is priceless, and most of my clients tend to agree.

Below is a sampling of direct quotes my clients have said about my services. I think that these quotes best speak for themselves:

"Christopher has been professional, efficient and clear in his communications and deliverables. We will do business again. Thanks Christopher. " - Peer D.

"Very fast, efficient and professional. Saved 3TB of my data - thanks!" - Jonathon D.

"Excellent work. An expert in his field. Very fast and organized. Great work ethic." - Niko

"One of the most best coders I've worked with. Extremely detailed and conscientious - and knows his stuff." - Chris

Volunteer Experience

From 2001 through 2004, I led an organization called Hnsg.net, which offered free Linux and UNIX support to Linux administrators and Linux consultants. This volunteer experience helped me fine tune my professional experience, by exposing me to truly difficult Linux problems.
